Three steps to your first report
Telegram keys
A one-time setup at my.telegram.org that takes about two minutes. The in-app wizard walks you through it.
Log in with a code
On first launch Telegram sends a confirmation code. After that, you stay logged in.
Collect and report
Enter the channel and press “Start collecting”. The report is ready when the stream ends.
Honest about how it works
What the app does
- Stores statistics only on your computer
- Talks only to Telegram — sends nothing to us
- Lets you sign out of Telegram in one click in Settings
- Creates a diagnostics archive without keys, your login or viewer names
Good to know
- You need to log in: Telegram shares the viewer list only with a member
- Frequent requests may get an account temporarily limited by Telegram — a separate account is safer
- Accurate to 20 seconds: the app checks the viewer list every 20 s
- Anonymous viewers and lists hidden by the host are not counted
Installs in a minute
- Download the installer and run it. No administrator rights needed.
- If Windows shows a warning, click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
- Open StreamStats — the setup wizard takes it from there.
Verify the file
The installer's SHA-256 checksum. Compare it with the output of Get-FileHash in PowerShell — if they match, you have exactly the file we published.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free?
Yes, StreamStats is completely free.
Can you see my data?
No. Everything is stored in %APPDATA%\StreamStats on your computer, and the app talks only to Telegram.
Why api_id and api_hash?
They are keys that let the app work on your behalf. Telegram issues them for free.
Can it handle a large stream?
Yes, the app fetches the full viewer list, page by page.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
It stays and survives a reinstall. You can remove it manually from the app's settings.
How do I update?
The app tells you when a new version is out. Download the installer and run it — it replaces the old version.
